What is a company extract and how can I get it?
A company extract is an ASIC document containing company contact details, share structure, membership and a historical record of changes (in some cases). There are several versions of the extract available to download from ASIC Connect.
The most current extract attracts a $9 fee. Combined with the historical record, the cost is $17. For a full fee table please go here.
Within two weeks of a company’s annual review date ASIC must send through the company extract so that any necessary changes can be made (Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) ss 346A-C). It needs to be returned to ASIC in addition to the annual review fee of $267.
