How to Transfer a Domain to another Registrar?
🔑 Transferring Your Domain
If you’d like to transfer your domain name to another provider, you’ll need to provide your new registrar with the domain password / authorisation code.
Note: Domains registered within the last 60 days are subject to an ICANN-enforced transfer lock.
You won’t be able to transfer during this time — but you can still connect your domain to your new website using DNS settings (e.g. nameservers or A records).
If you’re within this 60-day period and need help updating your DNS, feel free to contact us.
🧭 How to Get Your Domain Password
- Log in to your EasyCompanies account
- Click the ‘Domain Management’ tab on the left-hand menu
- Select the password icon next to your domain
- Click Request Password – it will be emailed to your registered address
- Provide this password to your new registrar
