Does my company need a Tax File Number?

Each company will generally require its own unique TFN. 

Even if a shareholder or director of the company has their own TFN, the company will require it’s own as it is considered as a seperate legal entity.

You can apply for a company TFN as part of your ABN application.

The ATO will generate your company TFN and post it to your registered office address within 10 business days.
